The hills are paved with gold

For generations, people have left small town America and headed for the bright lights of Hollywood with hopes of becoming a star. Most of these wannabe actors do not find stardom, but they do find waiter or waitress jobs in the restaurants around Hollywood, which begs the question; are the pavements really made of gold? The Future 50 List

This week Real Business have announced the shortlisted candidates for their ‘Future 50′ in association with Red Bull – the 50 most promising and exciting startups in Britain today. They now have the task of whittling 87 bright new things down to the final 50, basing their decision of which of those companies have “the power to grow, disrupt and generate serious profits”.

We have always maintained that one of the main advantages of joining a technology incubator or accelerator is the huge benefit to be gained from working with the other teams and people. GAMESCON 2011, which is taking place from the 17th to the 21st August in Cologne, is Europe’s biggest trade fair for interactive games and entertainment.
